Matt Love Possibly the best opportunity you will have to enjoy a free cup of coffee at my expense all year. All you have to do is sit through a 3 hour sales pitch for a timeshare - I mean, a 90 minute concert by Matt Love (the entertainment value is about the same).

Hey Mr. Wong,
This is great! I could really use $24,500,000 million dollars. I've
made a short film that I want to expand into a feature length movie.
It's a musical. It's autobiographical. I might make a trilogy kind of
thing, like Star Wars. My life has been so eventful and interesting,
it might take 3 films to get all the important stuff in. My first
marriage was kind of like when Darth Vader blew…

Boy Howdy (explicit lyrics)
Swine Flu (currently number 2 on the highly prestigious Soundclick Avant Rock charts!)

A True Story Worth Reading !!! Please read it all the way through to the end. I guarantee you will get a lump in your head if you do!!!
From my inbox:
At the prodding of my friends, I am writing this story. My name is Mildred Hondorf. I am a former elementary school music teacher from Des Moines , Iowa . I've always supplemented my income by teaching piano lessons-something I've done for over 30 years. Over the years I found that children have many levels of musical ability.. I've never had th…

Do you hate christmas carols, or do you love modern music or both or neither? Give yourself a break from traditional christmas songs, and enjoy this radical revisitation of Silent Night, performed in the style of John Cage's (in)famous 4'33"

I think you'll pretty much find your chakras getting all tuned up and stuff, your kundalini will rise, and the performance of your stock portfolio will improve.

I thought several of the many songs (of mine) that I submitted for this contest were as bad as this winner, but I suppose that any sort of appeal is out of the question....

I've been following stories about Santarchy in Portland. It involves people dressing up in Santa Suits, drinking and singing ribald songs, outraging respectable people, and so on. I'm glad to see how the jolly ol elf is getting his game back on, getting back to his roots, keepin it real, kickin it old skool... for a long time I've found it striking that Santa seem like a family-friendly version of Salinus (conflated with Bacchus in most people's minds these days, I think)... and I find it intere…

I had a brilliant time in Sao Paulo... three shows, I did some recording for Lulina's new cd, went to her CD release party... lots of great food, booze, museums, vending machines selling books in the subways... an amazing place full of amazing people.
If anybody's interested, I was very pleased to see that other people made vids of the shows, and have started putting them up on YouTube. It's actually the first time I've been in a vid that I didn't put up myself....

Anne and I are here in Sao Paulo, Brazil, having a wonderful time. We came here so I could play some shows with my wonderful friends Lulina and Leo. I perform with them, time permitting, in a group we call the Waiters, and we've done the shows, and they turned out great.
There were some rough patches along the way – we were supposed to have a mini-tour to small cities around Sao Paulo, but Eduardo (Du) the friend/bandmate that was putting it together had to fire the tour organizer – who was not…

And it seems like most of the music is Obama-themed.
The biggest surprise of the election season - rabid McCain supporter American Leslie Jane made a sudden about face and has thrown his support behind Obama in a huge way... check out his many pro-Obama and anti-Palin and McCain songs at:

OK, I've been here for a while, but I'm still kind of trying to figure out what's going on. I don't remember how or when I got here, and I haven't put together the back story yet. Somebody used to be in a band called strange something or other, and now the band is gone, but this place is still here? I keep getting encouraged to be strange, but it has a paradoxical effect. I'm a pretty strange guy, but when somebody says "Hey quick, do something strange!" I freeze up, I turn into Ward Cleaver.
