Colors and hues of past lives and dreams Cascading droplets of insanity
Maintain conscious state of mind
Travel paths of life lived by different versions of you
True to whom you are as you are in this time
Stand still as you try to capture a moment to memory
To recall the person you used to be

Sliding on a sheer blanket of chaos
Receding into a vivid sea of yesterday
Trying not to cloud the tender light omitted by ones heart
Listening to a melody you once sang
How did it all change?

Contradict what you were
Stand in your own judgments
Scoff as you know what you could be
As you try desperately to hold yourself against the cold
You have let go as time went on….
Are you what you are because of lives wrong?

Bind yourself to a mystery
Create and alternate reality
Drift into a future unsure
Where is the beauty you once were?

Recall the mystic innocence of childhood
The truth of kindness as it was done for pure joy
Linger in a moment where you and I could just be
Laughing before momentary insanity…

My Memories

In the glimmer of the prism of a tear
I felt a memory
The light of the scenery was warm as was the soul
Trees breezed as I looked off the cliffs
The air was thin
I did not know it was the beginning of an end

Clouded were the skies as life went by
My vision not clears as people come in and out of my life
I can not comprehend that not all is as it would seem
A daydream of what could be real

Secret Window

Descending into that which is hidden
Terrors of my own making surrounding my shadows
A window to look at the dream
I lay my head upon its sill

Drowning in the terrors I have let lose
I can no longer choose that which makes me smile
I stare unto the rainbow I can not touch
I miss love so much

Did you think the words could not be read?
The story was written in dream
A fantasy that had yet to be

Distracted by life
Held captive by my dreams
The voices make me scream
Nightmares invoke my pain
Not again……

Spinning no one can keep me still
Laughing as I let the tears spill
Silently all the anger sits
Cold I no longer control my heart
